Well, it’s probably more accurate to say:
You are what you absorb
Fun fact: digestion is a complex process, involving a series of important steps as our meals travel from one end to the other. These include:
- Breaking down our food into smaller nutrient compounds
- Which allows us to absorb and utilise what we’ve been eating
- Which actually turns our meals into medicine
